Behind Eido de Bairros

Emilia and Vergilio are a genuine couple whose lives have been marked by courage, hard work and love for their homeland. They emigrated to France at a young age, like so many others who sought better living conditions. It was there that they built their lives, started a family and raised their two children — always with Soajo in their hearts.
After a life of hard work and dedication, they returned to their roots, determined to invest their retirement in a meaningful project. Thus, Eido de Bairros was born: an old dream turned into reality, where every stone, every detail and every corner has a personal touch and a story behind it.
Today, they are dedicated hosts and active members of the Soajo community, enthusiastically participating in village life, traditions and the bonds that unite neighbours and visitors.
They welcome visitors with the warmth typical of Soajo — with simplicity, hospitality and genuine pride in their land.
